In an effort to support both yoga teachers, and yoga students alike, we’ve rushed to create a system that would allow teachers to keep working, and students to continue getting their practice, that is needed now more than ever!
Because we know that teachers aren’t the only ones who’s financial situation has been massively impacted at this time, we’re offering all our online classes on a “Pay-What-You-Can” basis. We invite you to join even if all you can pay is $0 and a little karma at the moment, and we deeply appreciate the support of those who can give a little!
In these crazy times, we need to pull together, be as grounded as possible for ourselves and our loved ones, and be part of the healing this world needs, by becoming as healthy and healed as we ourselves can possibly be!
We thank you for your support, and we are doing our very best to support your physical, mental, & emotional health needs in return.
See you in class, and Namaste!
Because we actually lose money in fees, from donations under $2.00, if you are unable to pay more than $2.00 for this class, please skip this step and check your email for your class access at this time. Thank you!

Charese’s classes always give me courage to try things I’ve never tried before. My practice grows in her classes. I am challenged but in a very relaxed way. She has such an easy going manner, with clear precise instructions. I just tried her intro to Ashtanga class and I love the challenge, hearing her sing the chant and teach us in the style of her lineage. There’s an adherance to the purity of the forms she sticks with and there is a vibration of excellence in this. I know she is a mentee of Brandy Lyn directly and this definitely shows in her practice. Thank you!

Charese is a great 26/2 teacher! Even via Zoom, she can find the tiniest things that I can do to improve my practice. She pushed me to my limits and reminded me to stay strong, all while putting a smile on my face. This was definitely what I have been needing in this new reality we live in. 100% recommend!!

Today was my first Ashtanga class via zoom, actually first Ashtanga class ever. Charese is an amazing teacher who excels at instructing students. Clear and concise instructions literally as if we were all in the same room. She is a yoga competitor and a humble human in every way. Uplifting and encouraging to all (which in my opinion is what separates a yoga instructor from an exceptional yoga instructor;) I am lucky enough have been a student of Charese for Bikram yoga and Vinyasa. Her heart is open and she brings an offering of peace and growth to my practice each time she teaches. Try any of her classes and you know exactly what I mean!

What a treat it is to take Charese’s yin class all the way from Australia. It is the brightest silver lining to being in isolation! Charese’s passion for connecting with people and yoga is what shines through the most in her teaching. She takes time to meet the needs of everyone in her class, and I loved her guided meditation at the end of the practise. I highly recommend her class and can’t wait to practise Bikram/Ashtanga with her!
Big love! xx

Charese is an amazing, uplifting, wonderful instructor. This morning my mind was 50/50 on practicing, my body like a 3 (on scale of 1-10) with regards to wanting to practice. Just her guidance with initial breathing my mind, then body, immediately said to me that this was just what I needed. My practice was amazing , further validating my efforts to do something that benefits me just as much emotionally as physically. Love taking her classes and highly recommend them-

It’s my first time taking Ashtanga and Charese couldn’t be a more perfect teacher. She’s patient and empathetic, showing the poses first, and making sure everyone can follow the posture before she moves on to the next pose. Modifications are also perfect for practitioners like me with bad knees and all. Will definitely take her class again.

Charese is such a phenomenal and gifted teacher! I love her ability to cue from broad to subtle, directed to class as a whole, but also each individual. She always has something valuable to offer with every class. Timing, clarity, consistency, connection, attention to details-you’ve got it all girl! I love how I can feel your own personal dedication and passion for teaching and doing this practice yourself. See you again soon!

I LOVE Charese’s classes. 15 years into my practice they are easily one of my favorite yoga teachers because the energy & passion they bring to each class is so contagious & inspirational. Charese is a boss at leading everyone through breathing together throughout the entirety of the class.
Not to mention the sweet online weekly Ashtanga group they are cultivating. I am so grateful for quarantine first of all for Ivy Standard & second for forcing me to branch out & realize how much I love doing different yogas lots of different places.

I looked for Brandy’s class but couldn’t find any that worked for my schedule and I ended up in Charese‘s Intro to Ashtanga today.
My first Ashtanga in years.
Now reading all the reviews on her class here, I second everyone of them. It was a challenging class but I felt comfortable and uplifted with her concise guidance and I knew she often had eyes on me to make sure that I could follow and give me either reassurance that I did it right or need some modifications or adjustments.
Her instructions alone is already enough to bring me into the pose, stay with the pose and get out of the pose , and her demonstration is very inspiring to watch.
I feel very good throughout the class and even feel better when I walk out of the mat.
I love Charese’s class and I’ll be back as soon as time allows.
