About Tara:
Tara is a true lover of being inverted! She’s always enjoyed playing on her hands, but it wasn’t until she found her yoga practice at age 31 and sober that things really took off. She took a teacher training early on that allowed her to explore inversions and arm balancing and it was an immediate connection. Tara is an extremely dedicated yoga practitioner and teacher! Her main practice is The 84 (Bikram/Ghosh lineage advanced practice), and she has spent years practicing the 26&2, ashtanga-vinyasa, and more. She’s even trained with professional acrobats! Tara has the knowledge, experience, and skillset to assist you in getting upside down!

Rich Ray is a KPJAYI Level II authorized teacher and the director of Ashtanga Yoga Portland Maine. His first trip to Mysore, India was in 1998 and he has made numerous trips to study and practice with the Jois family ever since! Rich is also a Bikram teacher. He completed the first Hawaii training in 2007!

26&2 YTT 2023 Day 1 is done and dusted, folks! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

And WOW, these trainees blew their Initiation class out of the water. It was one of the most challenging Initiation classes @brandylynyoga has taught at ANY training to date - and that was driven by the way this group showed up and stepped up. It was hot and heavy and that’s how we like it 🔥🔥🔥

We could not have asked for a better Day 1!

Tomorrow these trainees get to experience their first dialogue pass-off with Half Moon, get to take The 108, and have their first double of the training with a 60minute 26&2 to end the evening.
